The Student fighting Alzheimer’s in Her Community

Miami, FL – Eimy Fernández, a student at Felix Varela Senior High, created Memorias de Olga to promote concentration and prevent Alzheimer’s in Miami’s Hispanic community. Inspired by her grandmother, who passed away from the disease, Eimy aims to educate through workshops and accessible resources. “Memorias de Olga is a tribute to my grandmother and an effort to help others take care of their memory,” says Eimy. Her initiative highlights the power of youth in the fight against Alzheimer’s.
